As a Texas Certified teacher, I’ve taught students and teachers in elementary schools to use computers for the last 15+ years. Most summers I travel with my husband to different archaeological sites like Greece, Spain and Turkey. When I’m not traveling, I run a technical support service helping people just like you with everything from setting up and organizing email, using iPads and smartphones, to setting up and and securing your social media accounts like Facebook and Pinterest. My husband and I have lived in Austin for over # years and we just love the people and our community!
I’ve lived in the 78731 zip code for 6 years moving here from near Lakeway. I love our neighborhood! My neighbors are the best; kind and diverse and always friendly. I especially love helping them out from time to time. I’m not a huge technical person, but one thing I do know very well is how to help my neighbors with Facebook and other social media applications. I can help you with setting up and teaching you how to use your smartphone and tablets as well.
I’ve lived in the 78731 zip code for 5 years, but I’ve lived in Austin most of my life. What I love about our community is the 4th of July Parade! So many kids and families and ladies lawn chair brigade make this one of the most special times of the year. I live to help my neighbors, especially folks that need help with digital technology. If you need help with just about anything from smartphones to digital TV, I can help!
What makes us unique?
digitalife was created to help connect older adults with neighbors who can provide technical support. We believe in a strong community and our vision is to expand into every neighborhood providing older adults the respect they deserve and technical expertise they need.
That’s why digitalife customers love us!
See for yourself.
I needed someone to help me with organizing my vacation photos so that I could show my friends and family. My Helper lived right here in my neighborhood and showed me how to use DropBox to store hundreds of photos, categorize them and make the available to be seen via the internet easily to whomever I chose. She took the time to listen to me and make sure I got everything I needed. The people at digitalife are fantastic!
I hate wasting time on computer stuff. I just want it to work and when it doesn’t I don’t want to have to spend hours on the phone calling someone far away. I want somebody I know and trust. digitalife helped me find the right person in my own neighborhood and at the lowest cost. I put in my request and several neighbors bid on it, I could see their ratings and I picked the person closest to me. It’s great!!
I like seeing my grandkids pictures and videos on a bigger screen than my laptop, so I bought a new fancy digital tv. The people from the store installed it and showed me how to use it, but went so fast I couldn’t keep up. I then found digitalife and requested help for someone to show me how to work the tv. Alison from my own neighborhood offered a bid that I accepted and came over. She listened to me, spent the time I needed, and was wonderful to work with.
